The focus of this class is on the analysis of growth of normal and neoplastic human cells in culture and therefore the subject is designed to facilitate both basic and clinical studies of the human cells. Also, in this class, the students can get the negative concept of cell growth , apoptosis. DNA damage, analysis of cell death, and cell-mediated cytotoxicity will include in the contents of this class. As research tools, the automated methods for measurement of cell growth or apoptosis such as flow cytometry and other mathematical, biochemical, and cell biological approaches also will include in this class subject.
